Instagram is Rolling Out a Feature that Lets You Add Up to 20 Photos to a Single Post

Instagram brought big news for its users after a long time: it increased the number of photos and videos in a single post from 10 to 20, bringing Instagram closer to TikTok, where you can upload up to 35 photos at once.

The carousel feature was announced in 2015 and expanded in 2017. Instagram first introduced the carousel format and has since added several features, such as the ability to add music to photos and the ability to create shared posts. Although adding 10 to 20 photos and videos to a carousel was a fit at one time, the brand has expanded it further. 

For some time now, creators have shown interest in telling stories through photos and slideshows. In this regard, the brand is trying to give this ability a better experience, and in this effort, the decision to double the number of photos can also meet the need. After this latest update, it can add up to 20 songs to the reels. 

In March, the brand is working on including up to 15 frames in a single carousel. The Meta AI is also included in it. This feature can create a tagline, name, and description for a post and reply to comments on the post. With the help of this, the content creators are also creating their AI Avatars. This update is being released globally.
