Google added an animated splash screen to its devices with Android 12 in 2021, and now it can be seen in YouTube Music as well. Till now, it was using a static splash screen with a red icon on a dark background.

However, the brand is working on its design, and now this change can also be seen with YouTube Music version 7.16/7.17 for Android. It is changed quite subtly, in which the fade turns into a circular logo, and it keeps shrinking till you get a thin seek bar.
It plays again after loading with the play head. This animation is easily used on various platforms of the main YouTube app and YouTube TV, and now it will also appear after the YouTube Music home feed. This animated splash screen is added later, which adds unnecessary delay to the app.
It provides a colorful and dynamic visual in the animated splash screen that is capable of displaying the app’s logo and several elements related to music. Its main purpose is to make the app more attractive and visually enhanced. It is expected to be released for iOS users as well in the coming days.
