Google is constantly at the forefront of innovation. The latest feature is Song Search Quick Setting Tile, rolled out on Android, giving users a better way to discover music. This new addition changes how people interact with music on their devices, bringing ease, speed, and accessibility to song identification.
Google Song Search QS Tile
This song search feature listens to the music playing in your surroundings, and in a matter of seconds, it identifies the song, quickly getting information like song title, artist, and album. Through this new feature, Google can encourage more frequent use of its ecosystem, thereby increasing user engagement in its services like YouTube Music and Google Play.
Google App 15.39 is currently spotted in beta, introducing a “Song Search” QS Tile (Song Search Quick Setting). This new feature was introduced earlier this year and launched as a fullscreen globe effect. Once any song finds a match, the Google search result page loads and all the information is available.
This new “Song Search” QS Tile feature can also be seen on Wear OS and, after some time, on iOS. To use it, users have to tap on the voice mic icon in the search bar. Then, they tap to search for a song. Lastly, users can circle for Google Assistant/Gemini and search.
This new Song Search Quick Setting tile will benefit Android users in many ways. The feature makes placement and access to the tile in Quick Settings incredibly easy, saving users time and effort. Users will not need to search for music or download additional apps. Google’s machine learning algorithms ensure quick and accurate results, often in less than five seconds.
This upcoming “Song Search” QS Tile feature will bring a whole new experience for music lovers and casual listeners, proving once again that Google continues to innovate to improve everyday experiences. This feature will soon be available to all users.
