Google Search is Testing Quick View for Recipes

Google Search has introduced a new feature called ‘Quick View,’ allowing users to view recipe content without opening the relevant website. The new feature aims to streamline the search experience, making it faster, more convenient, and easier for users to find and access recipes. The “Quick View” feature also offers a fast and efficient approach to finding and saving recipes.

Google Search Testing Quick View

When a user searches for any recipe on Google Search, the search results usually include a list of websites that contain relevant content. These results often also include text snippets, images, and star ratings to give users an idea of the quality and popularity of the recipe. However, in contrast, the brand will soon show only the recipe first, and other details may be included below it.

‘Quick View’ may allow users to view recipes without navigating away from Google’s search page. Clicking on this button opens a window on the search page itself that includes the recipe’s essential ingredients and other information. On the other hand, some result images may now have a small “Quick View” button that, when clicked, does not take the user to the website.

But the ‘Quick View’ button displays the recipe ingredients in the search app itself instead of the website, which speeds up the search and gets results quickly. Google AI may power this new feature. Google is testing this feature with a limited number of creators. It appears that this feature will work like AI Summary.
