Users Soon Able to Allow the Resizing of Quick Setting Tiles in Android 16
It was confirmed some time ago that Google is working on Android 16. This new leak has revealed that Google is working on changing the size of the Quick Setting Panel of Android 16. In this way, users can change notifications and quickly set tiles on the screen of Android devices as they choose.
According to Android Authority, a close look at the latest Android beta update released by Authority Insights found that Google has progressed in overhauling Android’s Quick Setting panel. The notification and Quick Setting panel can also be divided into two separate pages. Users can resize the Quick Setting tiles to fit on the screen.
Users can keep the size of the quick-setting tile up to 1×1 or 2×1 so that they can fit at least 8 or a maximum of 16 tiles on the same page. Users can change the size of any tile in it. Apart from this, Google has also created some categories to better organize the quick-setting tiles, and this change will make it easier to find the right quick-setting tile in the panel.
This new feature has been confirmed through Authority Insights. However, the brand has not provided any other information about this update, but this latest update is expected to reach the devices soon. With all these changes, Android 16 is still far from being released.
