Google Messages will Soon Roll Out a New Feature for Choosing the Photo Resolutions Before Sending
Google may soon introduce a new feature in Messages that allows the user to choose the resolution size of the photo while sending it. This feature is already present in WhatsApp. Authority Insight on Android Authority has confirmed this.
Google Message Choose Photo Resolution
In this new update, you can see an HD icon in the lower right corner. This setting will allow the user to choose Standard or HD quality while sending photos, depending on which the quality of the image can be reduced or increased. By reducing or increasing the quality of the photo, the photo can be sent faster.
This can be used to control data while choosing HD quality, which reduces compression but takes more time to send. Choosing HD quality uses more data. This new feature has been seen in the latest Messages beta version—messages.andriod_20241029_00_RC00.phone_samsung_openbeta_dynamic, in which a new “HD” and “HD” icon has been added to the photo picker.
The photo picker in Google Message will have an option to choose between HD and HD+. This feature will work for the photo standard, which will optimize the resolution of HD photos and give speed control as well as quality. On the other hand, HD+ photos will get better resolution, with Google also warning that they will use more data.
