Google Messages has seen many changes for a long time, the most recent of which was the addition of Magic Rewrite to the grid of shortcuts. However, Google Messages is testing Magic Compose as an always visible button. Magic Compose currently appears in the bottom row between the gallery and the text field.

This button is hidden behind the chevron while typing. The Magic Compose button will now appear in the row of smart replies after the new update. It will be a pill-shaped, sparkle icon that will appear on the extreme right. This new button can also be themed with dynamic colors. It switches to Magic Rewrite when the user enters text in the compose field.

Apart from this, no other new changes have been seen. This feature will include three buttons, the first being the “Plus’ menu, the second being the gallery, and the third being Magic Compose. This Magic Compose can be seen with the latest beta version of Google Messages, but the feature has not been rolled out widely.
