Instagram Launch Of Twitter Rival ‘Threads’ Is Expected On July 6th
Meta has a long history of borrowing ideas from competitors; most recently, Meta announced Instagram’s Meta Verified Blue Tick, similar to Twitter. Now, Meta is all set to introduce its Twitter rival, Threads, on July 6th.
Ahead of the official unveiling, the Android version of the Threads app surfaced on Google Play Store and App Store listings, showing a ready-made version of the app for Apple’s iPhone and Android phones, which will come with enhanced user interface graphics and features.
According to the app’s description from the App Store, Threads are where communities come together to discuss everything from topics that matter to you today to what’s trending tomorrow. With this app, you can follow and connect directly with your favorite creators and other like-minded people or share your ideas, opinions, and creativity with the world.
According to the Play Store listing, Instagram’s Threads app is very similar to Twitter. After installation, the app allows users to sign in using their existing Instagram account. Here you can find your followers along with a message request.
Moreover, this application allows users to like, comment, reshare, and share their favorite creators and other like-minded people or share their ideas, opinions, and creativity with the world.
