YouTube Is Offering High Bitrate 1080p Quality Video On Web For Premium Members
Youtube is spreading its area with its continuous new experiments. Recently it has announced that users are now eligible to watch high-bitrate 1080p quality video on the desktop web; this new feature is named “1080p Premium”. Previously in April 2023, the company officially released an enhanced bitrate 1080p on iOS.
Now YouTube is offering a high-quality 1080p video option so that users can watch the videos or YouTube’s content on the desktop web globally with a full, crisp, and clear view. But the only condition applied is that, at the moment, this option is only available for Premium Subscribers only. But hopefully, the company may release this option for all users.
But in some cases where users did not pay for Premium while browsing YouTube in Chrome on desktops, they can watch up. Still, when they click on the enhanced bitrate option, YouTube suggests they subscribe to Premium to experience better video with 1080p quality. Premium service is now a bit more costly than the previous time.
Apart from this new feature, Youtube is also experimenting with other features, including a Long press to watch 2x videos by which. The users will provide the facility by long pressing anywhere on the video player, and it automatically bumps the playback speed option. Along with this, it is also testing for a Bigger preview while. This option will allow users to enlarge the preview thumbnail they see when moving forward or backwards in a video.
However, both these features are in the developing or testing stages, and soon they will be available and enhance the users watching experience.
