The Korean brand Samsung recently rolled out its latest One UI Beta 3 update to the Galaxy S23 lineup in some countries. Previously, the brand released the update in Germany and the USA, and then the One UI 6 update reached India. It’s a major update, so it brings a number of new features to the Galaxy S23. In this article, let’s talk about those new features that not many have noticed.

With the latest One UI 6 Beta 3 update, the brand offers more control to the users over which application they want to update along with the upgrading process of the latest Android updates. Previously, the users used to face one minor issue but a countable one, which was that the company would simply update all the system applications on users’ smartphones, and they didn’t have any choice to prevent this.

The main issue took birth due to this scheme when the users knew that the latest version of some applications had bugs, and unfortunately, they had no option or control power to stop updates from happening. Now, with the latest One UI 6.0 Beta 3 version, the users are getting more control over the application to ignore such issues. The Galaxy owners can choose which application to update while installing the new Android version.

As per the reports, a pretty small section in the Software section reads, “Some apps can be updated along with this software update.” Below this section, the users will appear in the “Choose apps to update’ link, clicking on which redirects the users to a new display. The users from here can select which app they want to upgrade alongside the system update. The users have checked the boxes next to the applications they want to update at their convenience.

These applications will be available on both the Google Play Store and the Galaxy Store, which can update applications automatically. However, the apps might get updated automatically, depending on users’ settings in those respective app stores. But the change is a countable one. The users will get more relief and control power over the application update, and the Android OS update process will boost up.
