Google System Updates For October 2023 Brings New Features For Play Store
In addition to rolling out the October 2023 Android security patch for eligible Pixel devices earlier this month, the US tech giant has also refreshed its Google System Updates support page to highlight all the changes included in this month’s release. The October 2023 update brings a handful of Google Play Store improvements, some system-related enhancements, and more.
On the other hand, the Google Pixel 8 series will make its launch in India soon. Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones will be launched in India on October 4. Ahead of the debut, the Pixel 8 series has been listed on Flipkart, which confirmed that users will be able to pre-order the phone from October 5, just a day after the launch.
According to the update support page, this update brings a New design to the app details page on Play Store to help you discover and learn about apps for your non-phone devices. Additionally, you’ll be able to add apps directly to your Google Play library when they ask to download new content or functionality from Google Play.
Moreover, the Google system update for October 2023 improves app installation scenarios on devices with less free storage space, enhances content discovery in apps and games, and makes the most of device connectivity-related processes.
