A couple of months ago, Google announced Bard Extensions. Now, it is expanding its ability and power to enhance its functionality and features.

Google states that it is taking steps to increase the capabilities of Bard by which it can get the power to understand YouTube videos. Bard can particularly understand some video content so the users can have a richer conversion regarding it.

Now, Bard is getting this capability, and it is framed as an upgrade to the YouTube Extension, as compared to the previous version, which previously just acted like a conversational video search.

It seems that YouTube is separately testing the ability for permitting the users to Ask questions regarding the video. But this facility is an experiment for YouTube Premium subscribers to present a chatbot which can summaries videos, recommend related content, and many more.

Basically, with this update, the users will get the power to ask questions regarding videos. Now, once the users get this update, they can easily ask Bard some follow-up questions.

Regarding this new enhancement, the brand also mentioned an example;

“For example, if you’re looking for videos on how to make olive oil cake, you can now also ask how many eggs the recipe in the first video requires.”

By this statement, it is pretty clear that if the users are looking for videos of whatever topic, then they can easily ask any question about that topic in the first video.
