Google Home App Bring Back Speaker Group Volume Control
The company is preparing to bring back the Google Home App speaker group volume control to eliminate all these types of trouble. It can be straightforward for the user to control things. To use the Google Home App on Android, the user has to follow these steps –
- Firstly, Open the app,
- Touch to Start a Playback session,
- Tap on the mini-player,
- Touch on the output selector and add/remove,
- After that, choose the preset speaker group,
- Now, you can control the volume of any selected device.
Not only is the speaker group volume control making a comeback, but it’s also getting a significant boost with Google Assistant Voice commands. For instance, you can now simply say, ‘Hey Google, set the volume to 50% ‘, and it will adjust the volume for the entire speaker group. This feature isn’t just limited to your Android device; you can also access group volume from your lock screen or through smart displays like Nest Hub.
This feature is expected to launch with Android 15 and be available as a beta on Pixel devices so that all Pixel users will get another new experience.
