WhatsApp New Feature: Old Silhouette Is Replaced By The Person’s Initial
WhatsApp, the most popular and widely used chat application, is around the corner in bringing a new feature to the app. This Meta-owned application has introduced its users to numerous new privacy features, which include Silence of unknown callers, privacy checkups, WhatsApp channels, chat lock and more.
In the same reference, WhatsApp is planning to bring a new feature in which the old and boring silhouette of the person is replaced by the person’s initial in the group chats in case the person has not applied a profile picture.
Through this feature, the group chats will show the person’s initials instead of the boring silhouette if the person’s profile picture is not visible. Notably, this feature is currently in the beta version of the app. Also, only the silhouette has been replaced by the person’s initials, and the icon colour of the particular person has not changed within this feature.
This person’s initial feature can be very helpful in recognising an individual easily by seeing the person’s initial character. This change is very simple yet helpful. Let’s hope that the stable version of this feature will roll out for all users.
In addition to WhatsApp’s Person’s initial features, the Meta-owned chatting application has rolled out various other interesting and impressive features, which include some new privacy features, as users’ privacy is WhatsApp’s priority. These new privacy features include privacy checkups, you can edit your message, introduction to WhatsApp channels, polls are updated, and you can share captions on WhatsApp and more.
