Google Message Is Getting 15 Minutes Of RCS Editing Feature

For your convenience in Google Messages, Google has developed a new feature that lets you change any message within 15 minutes. This feature is called RCS editing. It’s like being able to edit a message you’ve already sent. Even before this, Google has been adding new features to Google Messages, so you’re always getting something new.

Accessing the RCS editing feature is a breeze. Simply long press the new pencil icon at the top of the toolbar. The messages you edit will then remain in RCS, ready for you to edit and send again. You can also tap on the checkmark to save or cancel them, giving you full control over your messages.

When you edit something, Google will note it inline, and the original message will show in the details of the overflow menu. On the other hand, you can soon get new emoji and kitchen sticker combos on the related note, and at the same time, you can prepare for the festive season by remixing your favorite emoji.

Google’s commitment to improving user experience is unwavering. After extensive testing, the company rolled out the ability to edit RCS chats in Google Messages, a feature that enhances synergy with other messaging services and brings flexibility to your messages. This is just one example of how Google is continuously striving to provide a better user experience.

However, this feature has just been rolled out stably. Apart from this, Google is also rolling out the Gemini in messages, a feature that allows you to send and receive messages from your computer using the Google Messages app. Additionally, a noise-cancelling feature is being introduced for the Google Message voice recorder, enhancing the audio quality of your voice recordings. Lastly, Voice Memos for the WearOS app is being launched, enabling you to record and listen to voice memos directly from your WearOS device. All these new features are available to everyone after testing.
