Google Messages is emerging as the future of communication on Android. Samsung is starting to direct new users to Google’s app as Google’s RCS implementation seems to be the best and most robust. It could allow you to send pictures up to 8,192 pixels with JPEG quality set to 100.
Google Messages fixes image compression issues
It has also noticed flaws and is working on fixing them. The brand is working on Android to take them to a higher level than Apple. Google is also testing and working on fixing all these issues. In recent tests, users could send images over RCS in Google Messages without recompression.
Using RCS to send beautiful pictures through these devices is great, but Messages drastically reduce the resolution of the pictures sent through it and increase the compression by 90% or more. This is a problem that the brand can fix soon.
In the latest Message beta, the option to send photos quickly may not be available for users. With this new release, the app can transfer images without tempering their compression, and many changes can also be seen. The company will roll out this new update soon.
