According to the official post, the brand is developing a feature to let users disable links in replies to their posts. It is speculated that this will help reduce spam links posted in replies to posts on the platforms, with the ability to block them seamlessly block them seamlessly. Additionally, a report has claimed that the brand is working on a dislike button for the iOS app.

However, Nima Owjee shared all this information, clearly stating that X will now allow users to disable links in post replies via a check mark. It seems that the brand aims to realize its vision of becoming an “everything app” that can do everything from messaging to payments, similar to China’s WeChat.

According to some reports, one of the many under-development features in X is an in-app currency that content creators can earn on the platforms, but it has yet to be made available. Last year, X also introduced a major change in the app that removed the Likes tab from the profile, but it was only for X Premium Subscribers.

Elon Musk also unveiled plans to grant select users access to premium functionalities at no cost, following indications of a decline in platform engagements. Before that, the brand revealed the three tiers of the premium memberships: Basic, Premium, and Premium+. These become more beneficial with editing posts, longer posts and video uploads, reply priorities, text formatting, etc.
