Instagram Will Allow Soon Creators to Filter Message Requests in DMs

Instagram is going to roll out a new feature for its creators, which aims to make it easier to interact with other creators. This has been officially confirmed by head Adam Mosseri, and this new update will also have the facility to sort and filter message requests.

Creators can now sort message requests in DMs based on two categories. However, if you want to check the message requests received from unknown accounts, then Instagram has also introduced many other filtering options. Through this new update, creators can now choose message requests in DM from verified accounts, businesses, other creators, or subscribers as per their wish. 

After this, users can also choose single or multiple filtering options. Mossari has further confirmed that “this feature can help creators easily find messages you don’t want to miss.” Instagram has also added a new Story Replies Folder, which makes it easier for users to check them by keeping them in one place. 

In recent months, Instagram has also released several other features, including increasing the reel timing to 1:15 minutes and adding customizable profile cards. Apart from this, a song-on-profile feature has also been introduced.
