Instagram has started making endeavors to get ahead of all social media platforms. On Thursday, Instagram organized an event in Mumbai during which it declared the launch of its Creator Lab in India. The brand has said that this creator-focused educational resource will incorporate prevalent Instagram users in India.
Instagram Stories Notes And DMs Feature
All these captions will be accessible in five other dialects, including English and Hindi. It has also declared the launch of three modern photo and video-sharing highlights, the fundamental objective of which is to increase engagement with other stages through stories, direct messages, and notes. Separately, it announced that this platform will also include numerous modern highlights, including birthday notes and stickers, will also be included on this platform.
The company announced in 2019 that based on the Born-on Instagram program, the Creator Lab will provide other resources for content creators in India. However, at this time, Instagram Creator Lab will include content from 14 creators across the country who can share their ambitious creations, insights, and strategies with other creators.
Along with Hindi and English, it will now be included in Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. Instagram has also added many other new features for users, like comments in stories, birthday notes, cutouts in DM, etc. The Comments stories allow comments on stories that are visible to all other users.
The company recently added comments on posts and reels, which will be visible only to followers. However, these comments will disappear 24 hours after being posted in the story. These comments will remain visible if the stories have been added to highlights. Users can also turn off the comment feature as they wish.
The brand recently introduced the feature of stickers on stories, which can also be used in cutouts of images. According to the company, this functionality is also being expanded to chats on the platform, and users will soon be able to send cutouts of images from their camera roll as stickers to others via DM.
The Birthday Notes feature will also be implemented soon. It will show a small hat icon in the Instagram Notes section on your birthday. This feature will make it easy for everyone to know whose birthday is coming. Users will be able to keep the birthday notes private as they wish, just like Instagram notes. These features are expected to be rolled out widely as soon as possible.
