Google Brings Some New Android Features to Explore and Search for Music and More

Google is introducing several Android Features for devices, including Circle to search powered by Gemini AI, web page listening, and the ability to search for songs with Talk Back. Additionally, earthquake alerts will be added to Android devices and Google Maps features for Wear OS watches. The full details about these new Android Features are given below:

Detailed audio description of any image with Gemini AI

The Gemini AI through Talkback is designed as a new screen reader for Android devices. It will prove helpful for those who are blind or have low vision. This new Android Features will provide information about digital images with a detailed audio description, making all the information more accessible. The image can be an online image, camera photo, picture from text messages, or any photo located on social media whose information can be obtained by the user.

Search music with Circle to Search

With this new Android Features, users can easily search for any type of song they have listened to without switching to any app. This music can be any music on social media or from nearby speakers. To find it, one has to activate Circle to Search and then simply press the home button or navigation bar for a long time. Finally, one has to tap on the music button to identify the name of the track or artist. For more information, users can also open YouTube videos from here.

Listen to web pages while searching online

Some users prefer to listen instead of reading, so the brand has created this feature. Now, interested users can listen to pages in Chrome, which will include all the content, from blog posts to recipes to the latest news articles. Apart from this, users can also choose their preferred listing speed, voice type, and language.

A feature is included for earthquakes in the Android

The brand also expanded the earthquake alert system for Android to include all US states and the whole world. With this crowd-sourced earthquake detection technology, everyone will be provided with advance warnings. After the earthquake, delivering all kinds of help to these areas will be easy.

Google Maps features are enhanced for the Wear OS

Users can now also use offline maps on their Wear OS smartwatches, but before that, you have to download a map on your phone. Only then can you access Google Maps directly on your watch. Google Maps will also add two new shortcuts that allow users to search for destinations using their voice when online and view their location on the map by tapping on the watch face.
