WhatsApp Is Rolling Out the New Transfer Community Ownership Feature In Stable Update

WhatsApp released an update with WhatsApp Beta 2.24.19.34 for Android devices that will introduce the ownership transfer feature for WhatsApp communities. Now This new feature is rolling out with version number 2.24.18.80. in stable update on the Google Play Services. This feature will allow admins to easily transfer their ownership to another member. 

WhatsApp Transfer Community Ownership Feature

According to the Wabetainfo this feature was removed from the app, but now it is being rolled out again. Additionally, the new admin will also have all the privileges that the old admin had. This will also include the ability to disable the community or demote other admins. 

According to this new feature, admins can also choose or transfer ownership to someone. This transfer process can be changed through the community settings. After choosing the new owner, a notification confirming the transfer will also be received. Through this new feature, any admin can delete unwanted things coming in the group or even block people. 

This will also provide privacy and confidentiality to the user. The feature also allows community admins to hide certain group chats from general community members. Apart from this, WhatsApp is also rolling out another feature to archive community group chats directly from the Chats Tab. WhatsApp is working to expand the availability of all these features. Along with this, a Transfer Community Ownership feature is also available for Android users. 

WhatsApp is also working on several other features, including video note mode, sharing music audio during video calls, account restrictions, a filter feature, an AR feature for call effects and filters, new channel analytics feature with metrics, and sticker suggestions to manage chat. It is possible that all these features will be available soon on the web, Android, and iOS
